Flexible hours - your professor will usually work with your schedule
Cons
Not enough hours to make enough money to support myself during the academic year (only about 20-40 hours per quarter). I needed another part time job on top of this. Hours are not evenly distributed between every week of the quarter. Some weeks you may have no grading or the professor may not need assistance. Other weeks (closer to midterms and finals), you may need to provide several hours.
