Pros

good culture and benefits, good flexibility with management for the most part. You will never take work home.

Cons

Leadership has bet the farm on selling AI products and we are losing because the product isn't polished but we are still charging for it. Meanwhile management keeps asking us to do more with fewer people and resources. This used to be a good place to work. We used to have team outings, we had a beer fridge. There was enough people working on this team so the work didn't seem like so much of a grind. Leadership was willing to spend money on us and the products that we touch every day.

Pros

This company has the most positive culture I have experienced in my career. Never have I felt that so much of my leadership believed in me, knew who I am, knew what I've accomplished, and cared where I want my career to go. There are tons of opportunities to stand out in the crowd and directly influence your own career growth, and I've never had such low stress levels while growing my career. They genuinely want everyone to succeed, and they'll really work hard with you to make that happen. They're also very transparent about the financials are general state of the company. I've never felt like I had less reason to worry about a surprise layoff or acquisition.

Cons

The main con is that their salaries don't always compete with the most compelling amongst the Atlanta tech scene, You'll know what they're offering you before you sign though, so you're only in for positives if you are content with the pay they offer you. I suppose another con from the sales lens is that it's not inherently a very expensive product, so this company is not where you'll build a foundation of big, enterprise sales. That should be clear if you're specifically looking for that just by looking at job listings, so nothing that's going to "sneak up on you" once you start.
