Pros

well run organization, camps are great and you can get as involved as you want in activities. Over 50 percent First Nations will get first priority for everything, that's a given. Management style is very fair. Fun interesting place to work, with lots of experienced people willing to help show you the ropes. Best if you have SAP, although it's easy to learn (I didn't have it before I went there, but was very accustomed to CMMS). Excellent salary range with annual percentage bonus depending on performance, Cameco's profit margin, and position held. Fly in fly out is excellent and well planned Accommodations are comfortable and food is always good and plentiful.

Cons

Worst part was losing job by a phone call, when the media had already said we were being shut down (Rabbit Lake). They said they told the employees personally, but that's not true--I got a phone call from my cross shift. Emphasis on First Nations can be annoying if they get a job they aren't qualified for, and quit too soon.

The only down side to working for Cameco Resources is the 90 mile drive one way so roundtrip is 180 miles four times a week. witch can get a little difficult in the winter.
