      Great atmosphere and enthusiastic staff. The camp itself is on a great piece of property with a lot of potential

      Management is outdated and does not understand what needs to be done to improve the camp. The camp itself is in desperate need of a remodel.

      Pros

      If you enjoy working with kids, this could be a great job for you! Additionally, the other camp counselors are all around the same age (between 16 and 25) so it is a nice way to make new friends in the area, and there is a pretty social environment both at work and outside of work.

      Cons

      The management team was not always supportive of me when I was having problems with my campers either not respecting my authority or being inappropriate with other campers. The management team also made some inappropriate jokes to me while I was at work, many of the jokes regarding certain races.
