Pros

You can be exposed to and responsible for several projects all at once. An opportunity to learn very quickly what you like and don’t like.

Cons

A lot of talk with very slow (or no) action. Supposedly there is a commitment to diversity, but most people of color have left the company - and for good reason. Work-life balance is poor, and employees are celebrated for long hours spent on projects where we’ve unnecessarily over-promised. For some this might be a pro, but Canale has a very family (#CanFam) culture. In my experience, this hasn’t really been shown in a nurturing and supportive “I care about you” way, but more like a “let’s not address the deep-rooted, harmful attributes of our coworkers” way.

Extremely fast paced and high stakes for big clients. (But that made it exciting.)
