Pros
The staff and management are all like family, it is a very welcoming and fun place to work. I teach workshops as well as working the sales floor, which is a nice way to break up shifts so you're not on your feet for 8 hours straight. Also allows you to connect with customers on a different level. It is nice working for a local/small business too, since we know the owner on a first name basis and our feedback is heard by management. We get the benefit of free candles and other merchandise, discounts for the store and workshops, and there are lots of fun incentives throughout the year, like Christmas bingo, and various rewards for meeting sales goals. This has also been the most positive customer service experience I've had, I rarely deal with people being rude.
Cons
Parking is difficult because of the downtown location, no stipends to help with parking costs. This is honestly the only downside.
