Pros

Altran Globally at the middle level has some interesting and serious employee' s with whom you can work with and rely on.

Cons

Top Management is not coherent or effective at the people management level. Managers don' t know what they are doing, they does not know the team or people performance' s and they take inconsistent and bad decisions without hesitating. Top Managers don' t care about customer needs and get involved in everything. Top Manager' s don' t have clear vision about any kind of strategy. Middle managers constantly change and move the direction and the course of processes, procedures and way of doing things and truly don' t care about the people that every day works hard to achieve his/her goals. People don' t really matter in Altran.

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
