Pros

The interview process will be a waste of your time and is a complete dog-and-pony show operated by, seemingly, genuinely friendly people.

Cons

First they'll reel you in with the promise of making a base salary of $30k + with the opportunity of stepping into a management position. However, they absolutely dodge every question that was aimed to fully round out what exactly you'll be doing... door to door sales for a SOLELY COMMISSION BASED CHECK. Every example in the interview process was how they perform "marketing strategies" for AT&T. All they talked about was AT&T. That was the first red flag. If this was a multi-million dollar international marketing firm, why were the only examples about AT&T? It's because they want you to do "direct sales" or door-to-door sales selling AT&T services. They'll tell you that they'll give you a sign on bonus of $400 and from there on out, you won't make any money. They say if you sign at least 2 clients a day (remember, these clients are people you'll bother at their residence with no knowledge of your impending arrival) you have the chance to earn up to $300 a day. It's simply not true. You'll work 50+ hours a week ( 11:30-8:00 p.m. M-F and 10:00-5:30 on Saturdays, unless you sign 2 clients on Saturday, you can leave early) and have to use your own personal vehicle to travel to areas with "client leads". There are reviews saying the people who didn't do well are lazy, poor salespeople, etc. but this simply is not the case. When I was offered the position, as you all will because their turn over rate is incredibly high, I had a lovely conversation with "HR" where I was politely lied to after I had inquired as to why they changed their name, why they lied about the position compensation, why all the reviews talk about door-to-door sales. They know what they're doing and they sincerely don't care. Its a matter of conditioning their employees and practicing some light-hearted brainwashing. Another Google search you can do is "Devil Corp" and just find out for yourself. I can go on and on about how much this whole thing is a scam but just do yourself a favor and search Detroit Business Consulting.

Pros

I have been a graduate from CMU for 2 years now and I had not found what I was looking for in a position. I have been scammed so many times by different "marketing firms" and I was very skeptical when I first came in for my interview here. I don't like my time to be wasted but I gave it a chance. I am glad that I made the decision to. They were very transparent on exactly what they do here for their clients. They just opened a new office in Orlando and it was cool to see them expand like that. To me that means I have an opportunity to grow. I went to CMU for a Business Management/Entrepreneur with a Minor in International Marketing. I love that I can use those skills here and have the opportunity to grow. I also liked the fact that I am this summer will be given the opportunity to be a project manager for the marketing department and lead out those responsibilities overseeing interns. I have definitely learned a lot from working here and excited for the next steps within my career. Thank you Mr. Rosenberg for your decision in hiring me on board, and the rest of the staff. THANK YOU CAPITAL!!!

Cons

Some Saturdays are required to work, but otherwise than that its been great.
