Pros

Nobody really cares about anything. You can go smoke every 10 minutes outside

Cons

Low pay no hours will hire anyone to drive even if you just got your license. Reason being no experienced driver is going to work for their pay. Auto haulers make 100k a year you might get half that. All college degree working in logistics never been behind the wheel of a truck have no idea except what they read ln paper. Out of touch with reality in the field of trucking... Work Schedule has no room for overtime. Work 12 hour days and only 7 days in a 14 day work week.Benefits the company from paying overtime. You pay for your health insurance which is very high. No perks trucks are leased through penske if you have a problem with the equipment you better off asking the truck then management they have no experienced. I have no idea how they are on the top 100 companies to work for it sure isn't for their transportation divison.. Large corporations aren't concerned about much except metrics and the stock price.

Pros

Remote work, first 2 weeks of the 2 month training, offers sick time before PTO rolls in

Cons

Little to no worklife balance, toxic positivity (like when they called the meeting about taking away our bonuses “exciting news” and tried to gaslight us as to why this was a good thing), extreme micromanagement, listening to our headsets constantly without us knowing, AI rating our metrics, unrealistic expectations, you basically do 4 jobs in one (at Carvana, appraisals / selling, financial applications and documents / EPUs, sales and customer service were ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
