If there is one word to describe the atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door, it's oppressive. There are a few attorneys who live by the "beat them into submission" motto. Verbal abuse and hurtful statements are made to staff members on the regular. The words "please" and "thank you" are replaced with "now" and "finally". There is little to no direction given to the support staff by some of the attorneys. The word WRONG has been seen on many documents handed back from review, yet there is no directive as to how to fix what was incorrect. The ones who are great at their jobs are tasked to pick up all of the slack of the sub-par employees. Do not expect to be rewarded in any real way, except for the treat of receiving more work than one person can tackle handed to you on a daily basis.
Also, from what I can tell, the positive reviews are written by the lead attorney. The interns are in high school, and I know that when i was 17 I surely wasn't writing verbose and eloquent reviews about a place I worked at once a week.
