Overall okay - Customer Service Representative CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Employee Review

Pros

Benefits, employee relationships, working from home.

Cons

Unable to use PTO, if there isn't enough time for the day you want (no matter the circumstances), unless it's unplanned (like for sickness), then you get a point that won't be removed til one year later. The attitude that the customer is *always* right and it's more than empathy you need to show, it's downright bending over backwards and essentially kissing the customer's backside and don't expect management to stick up for you.

Pros

I have a supportive team, my leadership encourages work-life balance, the company culture is very pleasing to me, plenty of leadership presence and transparency about company happenings, and the employee benefits are phenomenal.

Cons

I genuinely don't have anything negative to say at this moment.

Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Extremely low salary for 2026. Far too much work to stay afloat. Everyone is on PTO constantly which makes training/help almost impossible. Tenured employees are unavailable majority of the time and leave unfinished work on your plate to deal with.
