The culture is young and fresh. The company moves fast to adjust to changing trends and gives you the tools to sell with them! They are quick to respond to training requests and development and will listen to your suggestions, often implementing them. I feel that my experience with Careerbuilder.ca has been very positive. I've learned a ton and have been able to get my hands into so many different branches of my clients' business. Careerbuilder.ca covers education expenses and encourages everyone who is able to do it, to get an MBA or continue learning in some way - and they pay for it! They really beleive in their motto - that their most valuable asset is their people. Can't think of a better place to launch a career! Management takes pride in the development of each employee and don't settle for being on the same level as everyone else in the industry. This employer is fast paced, demanding and seriously rewarding!
Cons
80% of the support staff is based in the USA. This might suck if you want to waste time walking over to someone's desk every 10 minutes to ask questions - but if you want to be smarter about the way you work and just pick up a phone, it's like you're in the same building, so who cares?! Every job has ups and downs, if you don't think that's true then you're lying to yourself. But it's how you feel when you step back and look at the big picture that really counts and my picture is positive.
