Pros

Great company! If you are truly a good salesperson they have all the tools to do a god job. It's hard and you need to be quick. Not for lame salespeople.

Cons

Some people call themselves salespeople who really are not.

Pros

2 weeks vacation after 1 year.

Cons

Commission structure is brutal! If you don't meet monthly "goals and milestones" they take away and keep a percentage of your hard earned commissions as punishment. There are many times where salespeople end up owing the company money because they don't make their sales goals. (which is a frequent occurrence at many locations.) Could you imagine working at a place for 45 hours a week and then have to pay them for the privilege of being there? I thought sales managers are supposed to assist the staff to reach their sales goals. Not at Carl's! The store managers at the stores are also commissioned salespersons. which means besides being your boss they are also your competition.

Thank you for your feedback. The compensation structure has been changed and sales staff are no longer paid on a draw and commission only system. We have recently made some changes in Upper Management and how our team motivates one another to reach our goals.
