Pros

Very good pension plan (basically, UTC matches your contribution) and you can get cheap travel to certain locations. It is also a very good name to have on your CV.

Cons

Man management is poor. Constant firefighting, constantly changing priorities, little thought as to the effect on the employee's personal life. Ranting tends to get managers noticed and promoted.

The people, the salary, Christmas vacation

Cons

Benefits are terrible, toxic leadership is prolific, chances for advancement are limited, micromanagement is normal, evolution and change are nonexistent, commitment to diversity and inclusion are superficial at best, the CEO draw a compensation of tens of millions of dollars per year while laying people off, the CHRO is one of the most toxic people leaders I have ever come across.
