Pros

WFH every day, able to work from anywhere in the world for 3 months a year. No sense of performance, so if you just want to get your salary and do nothing, it is a great place for you.

Cons

So much that I don’t even know where to start. Firstly, you're always at risk — the amount of layoffs and big redundancies over the past few years is staggering, so you’d better keep your CV always up to date. Secondly, almost everyone in the company is completely disengaged. See the upside of doing nothing? Good luck getting anything done that requires support from anyone besides yourself — it just won’t happen, because people simply don’t care. Management is completely useless. Most are non-existent day to day, and the ones who are around… you’ll wish they weren’t. The company shifts strategy every three months, chasing one "silver bullet" after another, hoping it’ll fix everything — even when it makes absolutely no sense. The product and technology organization is completely lost — no product strategy, no tech strategy, and absolutely no clue what it means to be a product-led company. And to top it all off, they acquired another company and now have no idea what to do with it. It’s a complete mess.

Pros

Flexibility, early finish Friday, fully remote, working from abroad, double cashback for employees

Cons

The executive team needs a bit of work... this is the first company in my work experience that has got engagement survey score around 50% or less despite all the compelling benefits above... All the plans (yes all...) that executive team have brought in failed incl. Retail media, Little Birdie....There is lack in terms of understanding the user behaviours and make right product decisions. The teams got put on working on a shopping companion product and then got told to ditch it and soon followed with redundancy . They hired people from corporate background and all they do is to bring in people and build hierarchy... for a 150 ppl company u dont need that many c-level executives and GMs... and you don't need a dedicated strategy function if the sole strategy is to get directions from the bank. It does feel either of the bank or the executives know how to move this product forward... Such a shame. It is a mature business model, all they need to do is to reduce manual handling and strengthen user experience. Well, it's not a gold mine in the low margin retail space but who doesn't want cashback??? It could scale to more volumes with clear focus. Yea, only if you have the clear focus...
