Pros
The only pro is being able to work from home.
Cons
I had a truly disappointing experience working for this company. With a passive aggressive and unapproachable manager who seemed to take pleasure in belittling and micromanaging employees. It was clear that the company had no regard for the wellbeing of its workers, with no perks or good benefits offered to us whatsoever. The lack of organization and clear direction was also frustrating, as projects were often assigned last minute and with little guidance or communication, leading to a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion. It was difficult to feel motivated or invested in the work when there was no sense of teamwork or support from higher-ups. In addition to the toxic work environment and lack of support, another major issue with this company was the complete disinterest of the VPs in delegating funds for employee activities. It was disheartening to see that they had no desire to invest in the wellbeing and morale of their workers, despite the clear need for some sort of positive reinforcement. Despite the fact that employees had expressed interest in team building activities and other events, there was never any effort made to make these things happen. It was clear that the VPs were more concerned with their own interests and bottom line than with creating a positive and productive workplace.
