Pros

Catalyx is fast growing. There is a chance to get involved in a company at its relatively early stages. Access to upper management you wouldn’t get in other companies. There is an effort to develop a good company culture.

Cons

High workload. This is something that has been promised would be addressed and is yet to be realised. Lots of early mornings, no lunch breaks, and late evenings. High staff turnover. Every other week it seems there is someone leaving. Bad for morale and hard to develop working relationships with people as a result. This also impacts the high workload as it takes time to get new joiners up to speed. Repetitive projects. Not the most interesting work out there. Finally, take some of the other reviews on this page with a pinch of salt. Employees are actively being encouraged to leave reviews.

One of our company values is Challenge & Change; and we want to be challenged, we want to know what is working and what isn’t so then where we can we make changes to adapt and make improvements. To address your concerns, we take your views on high workload/work-life balance very seriously. This is something that was highlighted to us towards the beginning of the year and appreciate this was an area that needed to change. We have been continuously focussing on this, and through a range of specific initiatives we are currently reducing workload, increasing headcount, and improving ways of working, and will continue to investigate other ways to improve. Staff turnover is never a nice feeling and within an SME especially its impact is felt by everyone and its always sad to see people go, so we understand your frustrations and know that it can affect morale. We continue to grow and build our Catalyx team at speed, have welcomed 15 new joiners in just the past 12 weeks, with more new joiners to arrive in the next few weeks and beyond. Catalyx is growing fast, picking up great clients, developing new disruptive technology. Doing things differently is part of our DNA we aren’t and don’t want to be like other agencies. We want to be better! In our employee satisfaction survey we are told by employees that the pace of change is really exciting and variety of work is one of the exciting things here. Pros

Training all the time and project based

Cons

Racists and white dominated people in Newtown and other offices. Also, very low pay to join. This is a project based and performance based employment. They’ll throw you out if you don’t perform well as per their mindset.

Pros

Lots of travel and engaging with customer/clients and lots to learn within the first year

Cons

Very little growth in the role and the turnover rate is extremely high. Also long hours and frequent overnight work
