Pros
I really enjoyed working with great team members. CATO allowed you to have flexible work schedule which enabled you to be able to work from home when necessary. I really enjoyed the culture of the company, we had monthly staff meetings, and occasional pot luck dinners. It was nice not to work in a cube farm since the company was small enough to where everyone knew your name. I valued the excellent training CATO provided me, and I believe it helped me immensely when joining the CRO industry.
Cons
Their compensation is lacking. Due to the small culture of the company, they just can not pay you as competitively to the other neighboring CROs. I also found a lack of career advancement, as work was steady, but CATO was not also seeing the big name pharmaceutical companies coming through the door to partner with them in their clinical trials.
