Pros
Good pay, interesting work to be doing in California as most tech companies are software based or consumer hardware focused, nice area where the company is
Cons
The management is extremely inflexible when it comes to time off, sick days, etc. where it seemed impossible to go to the doctor, have a needed break from work, or just decompress. The buildings have no phone signal and i was told we couldn’t use our phones while at work, which made it difficult to juggle as a parent of kids. I’ve heard from many other people that in the warehouses and storage areas, rats and other rodents were there which is kinda gross. While I was there, a logistics role I saw was turned over 3 times, and one time I reached out to the guy who left most recently while I was there and he said that he’s never seen such a horrible OSHA noncompliant company in his 20+ years of experience. It made me question if they’re being unsafe there, was the work I was doing there worthwhile and gonna be used for the betterment of society? As a person of color, it felt very intimidating working here and often I was dealt with microaggressions from people who thought I wasn’t qualified when I am
