Pros

Good entry level sales experience

Cons

When you first get hired on you will be told you must buy an android out of your own pocket and get rid of your iPhone. If you don’t get rid of your iPhone you will get shamed. Then they’ll pressure you into selling an old guy a crappy Motorola instead of an iPhone which he wants and said he wants when he came in to FaceTime his grandkid for the little bit left of life he has but instead he will walkout with a very poor phone because it made an extra couple dollars and made KPIS look better. So now the old man lives the rest of his life with a terrible phone and not able to FaceTime his grandkids like he wanted. I actually saw people walk in with Motorolas and death certificates 3 times. It’s sad. On top of feeling guilty by working for a place that lacks integrity it is very unprofessional. You will never have a work life balance for the cherry on top. Wanted to keep it short but I could go on and on.

Pros

Sales Reps have a lot of autonomy. The commission structure can be lucrative on busy months. The retail hours are flexible.

Cons

Lack of management structure. No training whatsoever. Shared commissions on walk-in customers. Only cold leads provided. No marketing material support. No advertising support. Company pretends to be indemnified in any adverse situation. Commission chargebacks without justification or recourse. Company promotes unethical sales behavior while hiding behind carefully crafted statements to assign blame to individual representatives.
