Pros
Base is good but commission leaves a lot to be desired. RSU’s but you don’t get enough to truly make an impact in your life. Good peers that like to have a good time.
Cons
Do not fall for the lies in the interview. Getting promoted is very difficult because there is no open head count for AE’s. There have been BDR’s stuck in the last level of promotion for over a year now. They say you get promoted every six months but that only means you’re eligible. Even if you completed all the necessary requirements for promotion you will not get to the next level on Merritt alone. The BDR program is 2 years long even if you aren’t forced to stay stuck because of lack of head count which is much longer than any other SAS company. It is an environment that has a lot of micromanagement and no real leadership. Quota is pretty unattainable for the average person probably only 5-10% of the team hits consistently.
