Pros
Friendly and helpful co-workers willing to lend a hand or advice whenever needed.
Cons
A revolving door of incoming and outgoing techs and middle-management. Lack of true leadership qualities and inability to plan and execute fix strategies in management combined with an embrace of a highly dysfunctional status quo environment that no one wants to risk fixing, chews up and spits out some of their very best professionals at an alarming rate. "Growing-too-fast" syndrome is one of the culprits. The organization claims they have an open-door policy at all levels to help build the company, but it seems to backfire on any co-worker that ever tried to bring structure to the chaos. All the common issues with entities that accept money from the government with no oversight of efficiency is exhibited daily. There should be nowhere near the amount of stress my coworkers suffered through, but I guess in this bad job atmosphere, some are willing to risk pre-mature high blood pressure to pay the bills.
