Pros
Centrick employ some amazing people, they also know how to throw a Christmas party. Their pay structure is competitive (so long as you hit exorbitant targets)
Cons
Working at Centrick is simultaneously one of the best and worst decisions I ever made. Centrick taught me so much on ‘how to do property’ (and a fair bit on how not to do it too actually) and since moving on, I’ve realised that actually the culture is really toxic and oppressive from senior management - there’s little to no respect or praise from these people to the rest of the business, very often just scrutiny. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of favouritism that goes on which creates a really nasty environment to be in especially for those newer to the industry who need coaching and mentoring. The training strategy at Centrick is really poor unless you’re prepared to self teach out of working hours and the processes/manuals for a lot of basic tasks are completely out of date (which you have to read because there’s never time for proper training) but management will still pressure for no margin for error. Working on the inside looking out, the customer service is dreadful in that so much of what they do is centred around them making money, not their customer having a satisfactory journey. Whilst you’re a business so profit is the name of the game, you’ll have none if you keep upsetting customers! Sadly, I could write a really long list here but feel I’ve pin pointed the biggest issues and over my time with Centrick I feel it’s got worse as the company has grown larger and will continue to if attitudes and conduct of individuals don’t change.
