Pros
They refund boots up to $80. I've met the CEO of Ceres a few times and he honestly seems very genuine and upfront. My project manager has been for the most part pretty straight foward with me and is usually a very solid guy to work for.
Cons
Ceres bought out the small family business that I have been working for, the previous owner wanted to retire. At first it seemed like a great opportunity to work for a new company. They have been slowly taking away all the perks of the job. The other guys get a cooked lunch everyday, being a driver I'm often not around to get lunch. So the previous company always refunded me for lunch. That was one of the reasons I took the job. When Ceres took over that perk went away. I make the same money as the other guys but they get free lunch everyday. I drive an 18 wheeler and only get paid $18 an hour. They just hired a guy who already makes more then me. The payscale just isn't what it should be here. I drive a semi all day and they are trying to enforce a dress code (I wear khakis and a carhartt everyday) I'm in a truck with no AC all day. A dominos pizza chain is hiring in the next town over at $18-$24 an hour. It's no longer the laid back workplace that I enjoyed before. These are just a few of the issues that I've had so far with the company. Either way I always get the short end of the stick.
