When going to events tied to the city or running into folks at elected official offices, mentioning you work there brings recognition. Lee and Joe Cerrell (co-founders) were well respected by their work in local government within LA County.

Coworkers can be nosy and disingenuous. Having disagreements with certain members of staff, management or the Chairman/CEO Hal Dash can lead to a lot of emotional and mental stress. Best way to navigate this environment is to focus on professional growth and don't get attached to work friendships. Bad and egotistical executives can linger for a long time because they generate money and bring business for the company with their networks. These people can be rude, immoral, and right down unethical. It certainly takes a lot for them to be removed or disciplined if they're generating revenue for the company. Disingenuous staff is often seen hanging around these bad executives for social capital. These execs and staff bully both subtly and directly other staff members.
