Pros

Flexibility when it comes to work from home. That's it, that's the only pro.

Cons

Bad management after restructuring. The environment is not inclusive for neurodivergent individuals as they claim to be. Favoritism and racism. Health insurance doesn't include dental or optical. Little to no career progression or salary increases. No employee appreciation The company culture that developed after restructuring is unhealthy and no one in their right mind would want to stick around

Pros

Discounts, Benefits, Good Work Life Balance (good work abroad policy etc) Things can vary significantly depending on which team you're in. Some teams are great to work with, but unfortunately, these positive experiences are rare and limited to only a few teams.

Cons

I had a difficult experience working at Chalhoub Group due to several cultural and structural issues. There seemed to be a lack of accountability, and I often felt that there was a tendency to deflect responsibility or shift blame, which created an atmosphere where I sometimes found myself defending my actions and decisions more than necessary. This dynamic, which felt like gaslighting at times, made it challenging to work effectively and foster trust within teams. Frequent restructurings contributed to ongoing uncertainty, and my role evolved in ways that didn’t align with the initial agreement. Additionally, bureaucracy slowed down decision-making, making it difficult to implement changes. While the company promotes a strong external image, I found the internal culture didn’t always reflect the values they claim to uphold. Leadership turnover was frequent, and employee well-being didn’t feel like a priority
