Pros
People: everyone is incredibly good at what they do and come from diverse backgrounds, both professionally and culturally. Culture: recruiting and onboarding process seems to be an effective way to make sure everyone passes the airport test, and everyone I've worked with is willing to help others succeed. Clients: great collection of different types and sizes of businesses, which gives everyone the opportunity to both learn new industries and to double-down on the familiar to have an immediate impact. Opportunity/Work-Life Balance: people can focus on working 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week -- it's totally up to you.
Cons
As a completely decentralized organization, it's unfortunate we cannot be physically together more than 1-2x a year. I guess it does make those instances more special.
