I have been working with chaneleon glass for just over 10 years, early on I was paid a really low wage to pump out 50 pieces a day that were than sold for exponentially more, but I love blowing glass so I acceptad it. after some time and when I had gotten all my own equiptment I began contracting for chameleon from home, where i would get $5 a piece for what he sold for $20 and $10 for pieces that sold for up to $36 (generlization not trade secrets) I was happy to give him such a good deal because I was blowing glass again except over time... I found later that the amazing deal he was getting on pipes wasnt enough he began lieng to me and delaying payment for months at a time, being lied to, gaslite, and eventually paid wothout any paperwork and the numbers not adding up, I delt with this for about 3 years having to work many other jobs to survive. Recently we a large order where like always had to pay for feul out of pocket and spend weeks hyper focused on getting the order out quickly and with good quality. I was told I would be paid for the order in 10 days, the time comes with no communication and im told he hasnt been paid yet so I cant get paid and he cant tell me when i get mine, well 40 days go by and I finally get a check with no paperwork explaining why its only half of what he owed me. I text him to find out what the deal is and he says thats all the first quality pieces he got from me, my first thought is "if thats true why didnt you tell me something in the 40 days you knew I was waiting?" But its not true, he sent me the so called 2nd quality pieces along with $600 worth of eyeball pieces that he told me to make using a washed out red for the vains, when I brought the washed out color to his attention he reassured me that it would be fine and to continue using the bad color so I did and after delivering them he went back on his word and refused to pay me for them, besides, the eyeballs were on a seperate order from 3 months prior, I only had 30 so called seconds on the order in question which were not bad in any way but even if they were I only get little money for each of those so it didn't add up to the money he still owed me, when I messaged him about the continued problem he ghosted me, so at this point chameleon is a liar and untill he pays me or returns my pieces has stolen from me, who takes advantage of his contractors and employees.
