Pros
I have worked at CtW for a few years now and I would recommend it to anyone looking to join the fight for workers' rights.
CtW does essential work on issues like economic inequality, workplace discrimination, wage theft and consumer protections, informed by smart research and buoyed by innovative campaign strategies. If you want to work in a friendly environment and give your brain a work-out, this is the place.
Also: Good benefits (insurance, dental, life insurance, 401(k) with generous match), decent compensation and a preference for promoting in-house.
Cons
As with many campaign jobs, there is occasional work to do on weekends and some travel, but overall work-life balance is good.
