      Pros

      - fixed salary - fixed number of vacation days - predictable work-life balance

      Cons

      - uncertainty due to temporary contracts (renewal usually only 4-6 weeks before the old one terminated) - employee benefits not adjusted for different age groups - specifically in research: usually underfunded and ended up doing entirely different tasks than hired for -> led to great shrinkage of team

      Pros

      Real good research happens here. We'll qualified staff. Good mentors and a great place to make impactful contributions. Highly recommend.

      Cons

      Becomes very easy to assimilate if you can speak German. I believe there are enough English speaking staff.
