Pros
I really enjoyed the group I worked with, everyone was very welcoming and it was such a great family environment. At first it might have been nerve racking, but eventually, everyone gets really close. I learned a lot and there was a lot of patients with the mistakes that I made. There is a mix of interns and full-time graphic designers so there is always someone else that might have the same question you have. I used and understood Indesign much more than once did--which is great! You end up learning a lot of communication skills by calling people on the phone requesting images.
Cons
The internship is not paid. There is a bit of disorganization within the company. When I first arrived, no one really directed me with what I had to do/ who I should ask for a new task. I was lost for the first two weeks. Occasionally when tasks were given to me, they weren't given me in great detail (at first) so I would end up doing the task for a while before someone told me what I was doing was wrong, which was irritating.
