Pros

You get to meet with great experienced people throughout the company. There are a few dotted around and some of them are a pleasure

Cons

For an organisation that is dedicated to creating better leaders and managers, it is astounded that they wouldn’t first focus their attention in-house. This does not speak for all managers at CMI. But some management styles are particularly worrying. Managers should be experienced people who know how to manage people different age groups, walks of life, races and backgrounds and should always be fair. Managers should not be revealed to engage in sneaky behaviour or collude with other members of staff to push someone out because they don’t like them.

Pros

Colleagues and flexible working hours are great. Some very talented employees across the business.

Cons

Some, not all management of certain departments: Poor communication, listening for listening sake and do not listen to understand. Processes are messy at best, which are barely followed, making situations worse. Issues misdirected to those who are not the cause or responsible, and echoing what other reviews have stated, fear culture. Accumulates to an unpleasant and stressful environment.
