Pros
Company is small, so the ability to make an impact is large, most of the people are extremely talented. Brand is unique and engaging.
Cons
The company has been bought and sold twice in one year, so the fire drills to make the business saleable have been top priority. But with no let up on day to day tasks and responsibilities, and more than 50% of the corporate staff laid off. Through the transitions, the customers have sacrificed with horrible service, missing orders expected for holidays, and broken hearts. Angry customers have slayed the brand over social media. The brand cannot sustain the business with this mode of operation, losing customers, and offering 30% off everyday. The president has no scruples, integrity or leadership skills. This creates an environment of defensiveness, animosity and self preservation. The work is insurmountable, the hours are long, and the pay is minimal. Empty promises are made for raises and promotions to retain employees, then never fulfilled.
