Pros

The new gym is a great addition. School breaks are well-timed, and the student body is impressively diverse, with students from all over the world.

Cons

This institution suffers from serious leadership and cultural issues. The Board of Trustees is disconnected, and the administration is neglectful. Many teachers exhibit passive-aggressive behavior and racial bias, with very few faculty of color or those representing diverse religions. There’s clear favoritism among teachers and students, blatant racism among the student body, and a disturbing lack of cultural awareness across campus. Faculty often speak poorly of one another, and students receive little to no emotional support. The school feels isolated both geographically and socially, with nothing new or meaningful to offer.

Pros

Academics were good Teachers were accessible

Cons

It felt a little closed off to the diverse ethnic groups. Despite their presence, there was a large application of various racial stereotypes to the students. For example, an advanced physics class was reserved/recommended more for the Chinese students (as was said to me by the teacher) and the track team was majority black. In being a past black student at this institution, i felt very limited and it was hard to find a community that i could rely on. I also felt as if i was combatting numerous opposing forces despite keeping my head down and just trying to push through to graduation.
