Pros

Still hybrid, 3 days in office and work flexibility depending on the team you are on. 20% Chewy discount for employees.

Cons

Distinct lack of leadership direction stemming from C-suite down. Cross-functional orgs with very little synergy, competing priorities, and little bandwidth due to company downsizing. Rotating door of senior leadership causing re-orgs and shifting/conflicting priorities every quarter. Constant re-orgs contribute to sharp reduction in institutional knowledge ("brain drain") and constant "1 step forward, 2 steps back" company wide. Lack of advancement opportunity past C6 level (aka senior individual contributor) due to extremely top heavy management. Lack of consistency in level/title vs scope of work, competency, and number of direct reports

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
