      Pros

      It was a fairly close drive to home. Starting Salary was higher than other places within a 20Km radius. Benefits provided was also satisfactory.

      Cons

      The children do not get enough time with the hands on experience in order to maximize the learning experience. Educators are forced to utilize tablets to record their observations which in my opinion takes away from the child to educator interaction. Hence why I believe the use of the tables acts more as a detriment as opposed to a positive in terms of interaction.

      The renovations were really nice...and that was about it.

      It felt really fake and the dress code to work with children is very unrealistic.

      Pros

      From my very first interview with Jenna, I had a feeling this was a special place. She instantly made me feel comfortable, took the time to truly get to know me, and answered every question with so much kindness and patience. Tammy made the onboarding experience just as wonderful. There was a lot to learn, but everything was so well organized that I felt supported every step of the way. You can really tell that Learning Nest Academy and Childventures want their employees to succeed and have built a team that genuinely cares. Every person I met made me feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to be part of the company. What a lovely first impression!

      Cons

      Honestly, none so far! 😊 The onboarding includes a lot of information, but that’s because they truly want you to feel prepared and confident before you begin.
