      Pros

      None. It feels unstable, and work is piling up.

      Cons

      There were at least 21 full time employees at the peak a year ago. I think the recent low is just 8 active full time employees after two rounds of layoffs and a lot of resignations. The brightest employees keep leaving. We lost two associate directors of engineering in a year.

      you will do important and diverse work because of the company's size.

      Cons

      small size can be difficult for recognition at larger companies. a lot of teaching yourself which can be a pro or con depending on what type of engineer you are.
