Pros

If you work in Sales, you may be good. If you work purely on the management/business side, you may be good, despite layoffs If you work in Operations, your job security may be good but that's as good as it gets

Cons

I don't feel supported working here. It is a glorified customer-service job. Beware, the customer is always right. The company does nothing to support the workers who are dealing with customers daily. The salary would be amazing a decade ago. The salary is not the best. There is no clear path to grow. This job is very niche so it is hard to switch to other job roles and industries. The company has relocated to Europe. It seems like 90% of the job openings are in Europe. If you live in the US, it is hard for you to get a new role within the company due to the rest of the roles being offered overseas. You can only work in Sales or Operations. At least you get to work remotely!

We understand that the nature of the work can be challenging as Cint is going through a major post-merge change. We are striving to make improvements across all areas to ensure a more positive and fulfilling work experience, and at the same time we need to acknowledge that those will take some time from implementation to bring benefits.

Pros

The word that came up the most in my interview process was collaboration, and I have seen this in my first 3 months on the team. I truly enjoy working with every cross-functional partner. Also, even though there are many long-tenured folks on the team, there is a strong culture around documentation, which I deeply appreciate as it makes it so much easier to learn. I also very much appreciate the leadership at this company -- the strategic direction is the clearest I've ever experienced in my tech career.

Cons

Compensation is not very competitive with the industry my product competes in, specifically with a lack of stock options or ESPP, which have been typical throughout my tech career. It's also the first time in 8 years I don't have unlimited vacation (which has its pros and cons). But given where I am in my career, I was willing to make this trade-off. However, we may struggle to attract top talent in the future.
