Pros
This is a great company to learn and grow as a civil engineer. Pay and benefits are competitive. Annual bonuses have been given every year I've been employed. They have a generous paid time off policy. Project managers keep projects running smoothly, and there is rarely a large scramble to get things done before a big project deadline.
Cons
The company is so good to work for that there is a low turnover, meaning there is less opportunity to advance positions. If you are chasing a career title, it may take some time. However, compensation and responsibilities continue to increase without a change of title. Another drawback is the lack of 401(k) matching, which seems standard within many organizations.
