Pros
Having been lucky enough to get an apprenticeship with Clarkson Evans and qualify over 3 years ago I’ve also been lucky enough to work my way up to my current position as a Site Supervisor. The support from the management above is great and the company provide you with all the tools and support to get the job done efficiently. All you need is a good attitude towards your work and an eye for quality and getting things right first time. With good organisation and taking pride in your work it’s very easy to earn a very healthy salary and that’s without working more than 45 hours a week! I have 4 apprentices I am responsible for and sharing my knowledge and teaching them the tricks of trade is something I take pride in. The apprenticeship scheme is no easy ride however again with a good work ethic, a can do attitude and a willingness to work hard you can sail through it ! There is plenty of support from the company’s own college and apprenticeship team. All in all I couldn’t see myself working for any other company that I’m proud to be a part of.
Cons
None that come to mind !
