Pros
Majority of customers are great and understanding.
Cons
You will work harder than you ever had for a very small percentage on commission. Set yearly targets 25-40% over last year so it is very difficult to achieve. District Managers have the discretion of assigning new customers, sales, etc to whom ever they wish. Had to fight for a customer I signed up for almost 3 months to get credit for sales and customers - he decided to give the customer to another rep who had never walked into that location. No training. Physically demanding. No help. You will sell, enter the orders, research customer part numbers, allocate that item if it is not in your region (and customer service has wait times of up to 30 minutes or more) - then fight with purchasing to get the item ordered. Then it arrives at the customer location - you have to put all items away, add labels when needed, get your next order and do it all again. None stop demands of your time. You will work in the field for 6 to 8 hours and then arrive home and do another 2-3 hours of work. Horrible company that does not pay. I am finally out - just have been so busy that looking for a new job seemed to exhausting - but took time and did it. Almost equal to an Amway job. Lots of promises, but no delivery. If someone had been honest with me, I never would have accepted the position. Management very shady.
