Pros

They pay you every week - although it’s paid a week behind.

Cons

Toxic environment because execs lie. Search for lawsuits against Clayton Homes and you’ll see an example of what’s going on around here. They are fake to your face and gossip behind your back. I hear what they say and it’s really bad. They try to make people quit just because some “higher up,” gets mad about something small (someone “wasn’t respectful enough,” in an email). If the person doesn’t quit, the execs make up stuff and lay off the person or fire them for no reason. Then they try telling the rest of us that “it was for the person’s benefit,” and “they were happy to leave.” Riiight. They also try to expand and don’t do it right. They shut down an office in TX for title and escrow business, and tried to tell us it just didn’t work out. We all know it’s because they didn’t want to follow the rules. We hear them talking about it in office and it really makes us think they don’t care about us as people. They just want to use us. Better to find work elsewhere and not waste precious time here. They lie about cheap insurance, company plans, etc. They even lie about stuff going on with our parent company and how it’s affecting us here. Bad things are happening!

Pros

Benefits, Casual TM's, pay (for most TM's), A laid back environment. No dress code, no attendance rules, Bonuses every week. Team Leader pay, Career opportunities, depending on who you are, Schedule, work life balance.

Cons

Treatment from management at facilities and Home Office, Pay for TM's who do not have management in their job title but do the work, no recognition for the TMs behind the work that makes the mangers look good. The way that most, not all of managers, talk to the laborers, Frustration work environment, challenging.
