Pros
Lovely office, good work/life balance
Cons
Unfortunately Clear Channel (UK) is very much an old boy's club. There is much talk of diversity but this is possibly the least diverse company I've ever worked for. This is particularly apparent when you look at the upper levels. Bullying from senior staff towards more junior staff is not only actively explained away, but also deemed acceptable by VERY senior members of staff (in writing!) even when complaints are taken through formal channels. This toxic environment does not foster happy staff or effective working. Changes as a result of complaints are not implemented despite guarantees from senior managers that these have been taken seriously. The pay is low and the ability to increase ones salary is limited. Individuals are not encouraged to grow within their roles and progression is almost impossible. Budgets for training are non-existent, meaning you cannot develop extra skills while you're there. Unless you are in a senior management position I would NOT recommend working at Clear Channel. They will underpay you and will not value your contributions. Others will get credit for the work you do and if you ever stumble across any issues do not expect anyone in authority to take you seriously. Some companies are horrible to work for but look amazing on your CV. This isn't even one of those. Don't bother.
