Pros
Bright people and stimulating work with high standards but quite political in managing work teams. Stress levelas are high due to needing to cut millions of dollars from the annual budget. Benefits are average, not great, as they do just enough to attract talented people. Commited people can find plenty of advancement opportunities due to the rapid pace of shifhting alliances within and between departments. Beware, one minute you get good support and the next minute you can be seen as 'the problem'.
Cons
Their motto is "Patients First" which is OK but, in actuality, employees are "second" as the motto becomes a big stick used to beat down employees. Archaic, militaristic, top-down power structure where the M.D.'s have all the power, God forbid 'lower' health workers have a say. This results in huge turnover of nurses and non-MD's.
