Pros

Honestly there's not a single one I can think of

Cons

This is a truly awful place to work, please don't do it to yourself. I'm still battling with my mental health after leaving this place In my experience, aspects of management behaviour were deeply unhealthy and contributed to a toxic culture, with a strong emphasis on control and fear rather than support or trust. Every day in my new job I count my blessings that I left Cleveland & Co and in my opinion it's a sinking ship - very high turnover of staff, especially at junior level and most of the senior people are management's friends There's appears to be a fake LinkedIn profile "Eve Heron" that claims to work at the firm and promote it but this isn't a real person I ever worked with The benefits are bad too - you can get much better comp at other firms If I could give this place 0 stars I would

Pros

There's literally none worth noting

Cons

Read ALL the negative reviews - they’re all consistent for a reason: toxic, blame-heavy culture, poor leadership, awful CEO, relentless turnover, weak benefits, and zero genuine flexibility. Notice the conveniently timed 5-star reviews too - packed with empty buzzwords like “supportive,” “great culture,” and “fast-paced,” yet completely devoid of any real detail, churned out by ChatGPT. What self-respecting adult lists an “industrial vibe” as a positive - are there genuinely no meaningful positives you can think of?! The firm pushes a “female-driven” USP, but don’t mistake that for a supportive environment. In reality, management and the CEO rely on control, pressure, and intimidation. This is micromanagement dressed up as mentorship. Work-life balance simply doesn’t exist. You’re expected to be constantly available, and “flexibility” is reserved for the mythical time when things are “not busy” - which never comes. There’s zero support for your well-being. Concerns around mental health are dismissed as a ‘weakness’ rather than addressed, and if ‘you’re not burning out, then you’re not working hard enough’. The turnover speaks for itself. NO ONE STAYS - we’re all just planning our exit. And once you hand in your notice, what little professionalism disappears, with workloads ramped up right until the end.

Pros

Honestly, one of the best things about working here is the people. Everyone works pretty closely together, even across two teams (corporate and legal), so it feels very collaborative. Colleagues are friendly and easy to get along with, and it's a genuinely fun group to be around day to day. At the same time, everyone's really switched on and takes their work seriously, so you end up learning a lot just by being around the team. I like the shorter Fridays and one work-from-home day a week, and that there's a lot of understanding when it comes to working parents, especially working mothers, which I respect a lot. The company is growing fast, which means there's a lot of opportunity to get involved in different things and figure out what you're good at. The office itself has a nice industrial vibe, which adds to the atmosphere. There's a strong sense of transparency and thoughtful decision-making from management that happens behind the scenes. I feel fully supported by my manager in working towards where I want to be, and the processes and expectations are always clear and well-communicated.

Cons

The fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. However, for people who enjoy growth and change, this can be a positive.
