Pros

Exposure to multiple client bases Some staff are helpful and friendly

Cons

Horrendous management - don't listen to their staff Unrealistic expectations No career progression No ongoing training provided let alone encouraged High staff turnaround, you can see why. Insane hours and expectations, you end up doing tasks well outside of the scope of your job description

You're right, it is a fast paced industry where hours can vary and one that's continually evolving. It's certainly not 9 to 5:) There is a lot of variety and on-the-job learning and enrichment which is encouraged. We're sorry to hear the journey couldn't be continued with you - but thank you for your comments as we're always looking to improve. If you're up to it, we'd be keen to learn more on the specifics of your experience. Please email hr@cliftons.com and we can chat further.

Pros

The people are what make this place a great place to work, for me. Everyone, from operations, to management, to technical and catering make this place great to work at. It's really refreshing having management & team that sticks up for you and accommodates for whatever difficult situations arise, especially in the hospitality sector. Vanessa Green is really pleasant to be around, haven't heard a single negative thing about her from any level of the company.

Cons

Potential to upskill is very limited, crucial in the IT sector. Day-to-day operations make it difficult for management to implement, but the lack of formalised training and documentation (especially for IT processes) make doing my job without having a more familiar tech hold my hand at every step of the way difficult. Reliable management & team structure mitigates this issue greatly, but increases upward & outward workload.
