Pros

Don't listen to all the previous reviews about the company being toxic. There were a couple of members of staff that did create a toxic environment but they have thankfully left. This is a really good, small company to work for that's doing great stuff. Yes, the management expect a lot of you. Yes, it's busy. But it's interesting, worthwhile work, with a great small team with a can-do attitude. Based in central London in a buzzy Wework office. Good balance of working from home and being in the office.

Cons

Long hours with lots to do.

Pros

I'm the recruiter, so you think I would say the positive things - but I hope I'm giving you a frank and honest view, warts and all! It's a small yet ambitious company that is genuinely driving positive change in the climate space. We have some incredible people here across the company, who work collaboratively to put on a fantastic range of events across London Climate Action Week, COP, NY Climate Action Week, and other partner events.

Cons

It's events! What I mean by that is it can be incredibly busy. This is a small team (around 12-15 employees), going up with contractors/support staff as we get closer to the event. This has meant that previously, less attention has been paid on developing staff and offering a 'traditional' progression route (like in other industries, or larger organisations). 2026 has marked a shift in attitude with a genuine desire to grow the organisation - hiring senior people to think longer term, including a Head of People and Culture, Senior Marketing, Senior Conference Producer, and more. It will take some time, but the foundations are being put in place. This company would not suit someone who is looking for a company that has it all figured out. My 5* is to emphasise that the work is being put in place to move us forward, and to recognise that the existing Glassdoor score may have been right some time ago, but to reflect that the work is being done and a higher score reflects the work being done. Please note, it's also not a 'made up' score by management - I'm a real person here! If you like a puzzle and this kind of challenge, with this level of opportunity, you'll thrive!

Pros

Working in a wework can be nice from time to time.

Cons

A really awful environment. Strongly advise to stay away from C.A. I foolishly ignored the other reviews and thought it might be different, I was wrong. It really is a toxic environment from the leadership and the company's reputation in the rest of the industry is awful. Avoid working here. The average staff member lasts 6 months or less which says everything you need to know.
