Pros

I've worked here for over 10 years and I'm really surprised to read the negative comments. It's a small company that punches above its weight, running a series of well-respected events to accelerate the transition to a net zero, nature positive future. It also recently launched the Climate Action Coalition with Chris Skidmore -the former UK Energy Minister – to deliver greater year-round impact. Nice balance of WFH and in the We Work office in Victoria. It's nice being able to travel abroad for the events, although there’s not much downtime when away.

Cons

Staff are expected to work long and hard. And the team is small which can be overwhelming sometimes, but when everyone pulls their weight and works together, the end results are great! The company and its events are all funded through corporate sponsorship which can put a lot of pressure on the team – in terms of reaching the sales targets and keeping costs down.

Pros

I'm the recruiter, so you think I would say the positive things - but I hope I'm giving you a frank and honest view, warts and all! It's a small yet ambitious company that is genuinely driving positive change in the climate space. We have some incredible people here across the company, who work collaboratively to put on a fantastic range of events across London Climate Action Week, COP, NY Climate Action Week, and other partner events.

Cons

It's events! What I mean by that is it can be incredibly busy. This is a small team (around 12-15 employees), going up with contractors/support staff as we get closer to the event. This has meant that previously, less attention has been paid on developing staff and offering a 'traditional' progression route (like in other industries, or larger organisations). 2026 has marked a shift in attitude with a genuine desire to grow the organisation - hiring senior people to think longer term, including a Head of People and Culture, Senior Marketing, Senior Conference Producer, and more. It will take some time, but the foundations are being put in place. This company would not suit someone who is looking for a company that has it all figured out. My 5* is to emphasise that the work is being put in place to move us forward, and to recognise that the existing Glassdoor score may have been right some time ago, but to reflect that the work is being done and a higher score reflects the work being done. Please note, it's also not a 'made up' score by management - I'm a real person here! If you like a puzzle and this kind of challenge, with this level of opportunity, you'll thrive!

Pros

Working in a wework can be nice from time to time.

Cons

A really awful environment. Strongly advise to stay away from C.A. I foolishly ignored the other reviews and thought it might be different, I was wrong. It really is a toxic environment from the leadership and the company's reputation in the rest of the industry is awful. Avoid working here. The average staff member lasts 6 months or less which says everything you need to know.
