Rapidly-growing company - Anonymous employee CoLabination Employee Review

I worked at Colabination/Flagship for 7 months. In that time, I can honestly say I benefitted from the experience in multiple ways. This job is high stress but it's worth it. With the amount that I've learned in the last half year, I've come to understand business management, self-management, marketing initiatives, sales, operations, and more. I feel I was truly immersed in a start-up atmosphere. It's been awesome to watch and be a part of a young & hungry company in a thriving industry.

Long hours are key to your success and growth at Colabination. The startup life is often stressful.

Please do not waste your time. This company clearly doesn't know what it wants or needs. Will waste your time with multiple hour-long interviews and still no mention of salary. CEO asked me to work for free for two days before considering me for the position. Did not tell me a salary range after asking multiple times. Nothing. Once I said I was not comfortable working for free, CEO Scott Latham cut the interview short and said they'd follow up. Obviously (thankfully), I never heard from anyone from the company again. A real start-up on steroid mentality where mgmt truly believes you should be so thrilled to work there that you don't need to know about how you (or even if) you will be compensated.

The entire experience. This would probably not be good as a first job, second job, any job no matter your experience level.
