Pros

* There is a method of work to fit everyone. * It's not a terribly large company, and you'll get to know all of your coworkers (which is why I can't list my job title, because they will know who this is) * You're provided unparalleled support for your work. I can ask my superiors for assistance and always receive prompt and careful guidance to make me a better employee * The Communication between the grunt and CEO / President is unmatched; it's one of the first places where I feel I could air a grievance, and it would be received well and translated across the company if need be. * The Benefits package is well suited to fit a variety of situations, and the HR department is motivated to help you as a person... and not just an employee. * The working environment is fresh and open, and it allows me to go into my own space and do my job without distractions or detractions. * The technology I am afforded to do my job is cutting edge, and for once, it's not a hindrance to do my job. I'm not limited by terrible internet or a computer from 1987, and the IT department is just incredible with the support they provide to the office. This is near to me because 100% of my work is on a computer.

Cons

* I don't know where I am going, which is fine... I'm happy where I am. There just isn't a roadmap to what comes next, and it feels like I'll be in this position forever.

Pros

I reported directly to our CEO, Ingrid Constantine on a contract with the US Army. She didn't micromanage me and entrusted me to do my job without oversight and she went to bat for me on more than one occasion and that meant a lot to me. The salary was the highest I'd made in my career up until now (95/year) and the 401k was a 100% match up to 4% with a 33% vestment per year of employment on their end. I never had to work more than a 40-hour work week as well. Working with the military we had several holidays off.

Cons

Offsetting the great base pay, was the middling insurance. We're through UHC and I'm on the cheapest plan, an HDHP plan and I was getting $350 deducted for the health coverage every check (semi-monthly) for the family plan and it's not particularly good coverage until after the deductible is met (which I never hit). For employees with less than 5 years with the company the PTO was only 10 days a year with an accrual per check plus an accrual of 5 sick days a year. This I feel is maybe average and not particularly a con. The biggest con, and the reason I'm leaving at the end of this week is the current instability in the government. With DOGE and budget cuts happening all over the place, I had to leave for job security. Prior to the current administration things were much more stable, but that's a con of the industry and not specific to CoSolutions specifically.
